The Studio
The Team
Young educators with active musical experience. Each instructor focuses on practical musicianship.

My name is Farrukh Gulamaliyev, and I founded Sibemol Studio out of a deep appreciation for the kind of creative freedom that once defined so many music spaces.
I wanted to build a place where children could experience the joy of exploring ideas and discovering their own musical voice. Alongside developing musical skills, students learn confidence, discipline, and collaboration through shared creative experiences. My hope is to preserve that spirit of curiosity and genuine artistic exploration, making music education meaningful, inspiring, and accessible to every child who walks through our doors.

Hello!
My name is Șerban Călugăr. I am a Romanian composer, arranger, producer, and guitarist originally from Târgu Mureș, a multicultural city in the heart of Transylvania. I studied Jazz Composition at the Fontys Academy of the Arts in Tilburg, the Netherlands, under the guidance of arranger and composer Maino Remmers. Today, I divide my creative work between Bucharest and Amsterdam.
My musical journey began in childhood, when I started teaching myself guitar. During my teenage years, I gradually expanded my musical interests into electronic and hip-hop production, while also developing a strong interest in mixing, mastering, and sound design. These different influences have shaped the way I approach composition and helped me build a broad and versatile musical language.
During my studies in the Netherlands, I focused extensively on writing for large jazz, fusion, and crossover ensembles. My work was featured at the November Music Festival in Den Bosch, and I was awarded third prize at the European composition competition “Writing for Big Band – A Challenge?”. I also performed my graduation composition, “The Night,” written for crossover orchestra.
Between 2021 and 2024, I founded and performed with the psychedelic rock trio Tartar Monks. Together, we recorded and performed throughout Romania, appeared on radio, released an EP, and completed a two-week tour.
My musical influences range from classical composers such as Bach, Ravel, Stravinsky, and Wagner to jazz artists including John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, and Charles Mingus. At the same time, I draw inspiration from contemporary styles such as grunge, metal, hip-hop, electronic breakbeat, and Middle Eastern crossover music.
As a young artist, I am interested in both traditional projects and unconventional creative challenges. My goal is to continue learning, experimenting, and building a diverse body of work that explores new possibilities in composition, production, and performance.
